In a string of interviews conducted over November 2002, interviewees were asked, ‘Who was your best friend?’, ‘What are you worried about?’, and ‘How do you know when you are in love?’. Responses to each individual question were cut together to form three threads of answers.
The installation comprised of three soundboxes, each hung at ear height, with one question printed large above each one. Very quietly, each box played the threaded answers to one question.
